.cancellation policy.

In this industry, most stylists are paid by commission. This means they do not make a salary or hourly rate. They earn their living by taking care of guests in their chair. If an appointment is cancelled with little notice, there is no opportunity for the stylist to book another appointment. 

Shear Passion respectfully asks that in this event,  you give 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows for time to contact guests on the waiting list. All appointments are confirmed 48 hours prior to their scheduled time via text, email, or both. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of all services booked.  Not showing up for confirmed appointments are subject to fee equal to 100% of services booked. The fee must be paid before guest will be allowed to schedule another appointment. 

.late policy.

Guests are given a 10 minute window after appointment start time before calling to check on you. At this time the stylist will discuss with you if there is enough time to complete scheduled services. You may need to forgo services in order to keep you in the allotted time reserved for you. Please remember that your appointment time is held for you, and only you. Always call if you think you are going to be late.

.children policy.

Due to safety considerations and limited space, children are not permitted in the salon without an appointment. In the event of no other options, they must be attended to by an adult who is not receiving services.

Shear Passion understands that accidents happen, people get sick, and/or emergencies occur. Our best will be done to accommodate these occasions with grace. We do however record these occurrences to prevent abuse of this procedure. Our goal is to be preventative in order to protect our professionals and guests.
